Assuage the scorching heat I pray. Unleash the heavens’ clouds to burst. Grant the winds that will cool the day. Unfurl the skies with rains disbursed. Send gentle storms with vital spray. Thank you, God, for quenching our thirst.

Congrats on your win Linda. But you’re praying for gentle showers while the UK appears to have acquired a monsoon season. Hmmm, what’s the opposite of a rain dance?
