Linda Alice Fowler Poet Acrostic

August

Assuage the scorching heat I pray.
Unleash the heavens’ clouds to burst.  
Grant the winds that will cool the day.
Unfurl the skies with rains disbursed.
Send gentle storms with vital spray. 
Thank you, God, for quenching our thirst.
