Au Revoir England

There is the fear. There is the stress.
Life now out of kilter, life before this mess.

Where do we stand, how do we call?
In a different land than ‘‘twas afore.

There is the menace of the right fires burning. The horizon dims as the world keeps turning.

The England I knew of my life before, it’s not that England anymore.
