Notes About The Poem

Atmospheric Pressure

Welcome to this club called "Earth"

Your wait will no doubt fill its worth

If you're a breather, have no fear

Your going to like the atmosphere

Mind not the pain behind your eyes

I'll be taking it with me when I rise

You see, the earth requires rain

And lows can create headache pain

But while I'm down when e'er it's grey

My mood is changing day-to-day

See, I never stay one way or other

I'm capricious, (like Nature's mother)

So here comes sunshine and blue sky

Things always improve when I get ...

HIGH!

Some fun twists with words, Greg: Your humor shows through. I enjoyed the way your rhymes worked keeping the atmospheric pressure constant. Should be a winner. SuZ

Dang, I don't understand enough about science to even think up something as clever as this. Gotta hurry and come up with something symbolic or I am DONE for.

I have absolutely NO doubt you will, my friend, as you are extraordinarily creative AND brilliant ... I've yet to read ANYthing of yours that I didn't love, and that is rare, as I am very picky. ;-) Blessings!

I agree w/all the other talented poets/poetesses ... creative genius this poem be, Greg. I'm partial to poems w/cerebral wordplay ... this poem has it richly too. Great ending, it made me smile broadly. Love and peace always, bruh.

Thank you SO much, Freddie, that means a lot to me ... if nothing else, I try to make my poems substantive and integral - TRY is the operative word here, I don't always succeed, lol. Mostly, I like making others smile, so that's the best part of this wonderful comment! Blessings, my brother!
