Sans thee,
I am but a heart cleaved in two.
I'm left teetering
on the jagged edge of madness.
Please stay...
because every time you leave,
the world ceases to spin;
looks barren and feels flat.
And I'm worth as much as fool's gold!
With each kiss goodbye,
I fear you'd forget me.
Don't let me be a lone feather
floating erratically in the wind of confusion,
not knowing what to do with myself.
I fear I'd be a foundation
once standing as tall as the sequoia
blown down in a gale.
Sans thee,
my mind refuses to free you.
Never let me go.
Darling, stay eternally
shackled to me
like a cumbersome ball and chain!
Never let me go.
Note: "Athazagoraphobia" is the fear of being forgotten.
