Atelectasis
A newborn child on the nurse' s lap,
Receives on its chest her repeated tap.
Restless, distressed, draws lower chest in,
In rapid succession to suck the air in.
Breath-sounds are weak in a cyanosed child,
Its unexpanded lungs indicate Atelectasis in the child.
