At This Point

At this point in my life,
I have come to realize,
That I’ve made more mistakes,
In a few years,
Than most people make in a lifetime.

At this point in my life,
I have come to realize,
That I’ve made more wrong turns,
One after the other,
And I’m at a dead end in a one way street.

At this point in my life,
I have come to realize,
That I need a new way to live,
Turn over a new leaf,
And try a fresh way to live my life.

At this point in my life,
I have come to realize,
That I need to wake up,
Not give up,
And rise from the ashes like a phoenix.
