At the Store

Needed some sneakers So went to a store But nobody shops In a store anymore. Salesfolk approached me; No customers shopped. Prices were discounted, Then again chopped. Left with a purchase – A new sneaker pair, But wonder how long That same store will be there.

Shopping and shipping has become the new norm. It's like moving to Hawaii, it's always just warm. Conveniently choosing inside your own home. It seems that there's getting less reason to roam.

I much prefer to try before you buy Ilene but sadly shops are disappearing - have noticed it so much when we went To Southport and about 11 shops on the main street were shut and they'd been there the last time we'd visited:-( hugs jan xx
