At the Rally - Victory

    Frantic movement and commotion
       Fist-pumping, foot-stomping emotion

    Slogans shouted, cheers abide
Endless cheers of ‘He’s our guy!’

    Music blares, eager midriffs bared
       The other candidate’s running scared

Victory takes wing at every rally ~
       chasing dreams down blindest alleys

You didn't say who this is about, but shout for the winner.

Some rallies…people are vetted first and brought in. You know great poem, G! PS Not all politicians are evil. Some are! If the populace elects idiots, it is on them! Its like me saying, all poets are liars. Or,,,saying all poets are angelic,,that thinking is a tad off! We may think we are, but evil runs here, as well. If one studied Plato or Aristotle or even the Bible,,one knows better. Pangie~ the Greek!

Can't tell one bark from another these days either. The main thing is to shut down the opposition...

Only if they don’t do what they say, unfortuantely many don’t and yet people fall for it anyway.
