Hi Jan a lovely tibute to your dear friend that passed. Crows do mourn the death of one of their group and will celebrate in a type of service each bringing something near the dead crow.a leave, a flower, a nail, a piece of piece of chocolate paper, whatever they can find, and God help you if you ran over him whilst driving, their revenge is a fact. Blessings and hugs Jennifer.

Wonderful haiku Jan, them ravens seem to hang around graveyards, sometimes I wonder if there trying to tell us something, I find when grieving we’re more susceptible to nature, perhaps we look for meaning, and take some solace from it, cheers David

Thanks Ilene we had been friends for about 24 years and were 2 of 9 mourners at the funeral, it was surreal not to have singing and not to be able to hug his wife and really chat, but we will see here next week and be able to share memories :-) hugs Jan xx
