At the End of the Day

Is this my achievement? This is not what I planned for Clueless answers is all I seem to get Darkness now lights the room of my thoughts Everything I built now in smithereens Broken pieces now left for me Beauty faded away like memories As ashes that are worthless to me But I should have seen it coming Where was the weak link that made it fall? I was so confident because it was so tall Never know so great a fall was coming I wouldn’t build again, its point is lame It is bound to leave the way it once came Like eating just to get hungry again Wasted effort lies at the end of the day
