At The Edge To Forever
Fate descends with indomitable might
steals the only true love from my sight
Her mystical charm I vividly remember
banished ghouls in my dreams I swear
With wings aglow she floats over cities
chanting a hymn among sacred deities
A minute without her is a life upturned
the will to live dies as my heart burned
As pain eroded an old wound mended
the destructive wave in defeat receded
My angel is as pure as a perfect amber
patiently waiting at the road to forever
