At the Edge of Cliff

At ‘dusk’ I am still surviving at the edge of a emotional cliff
Since dawn the run was on
Trying to keep pace to rising expectations
Pulsating
Sweating
Latching on thin breath
I offered my entire being
Unconditional
In completion
The mirage called you
Lured me to deserts unknown
Thirsty desires
Lusting for the illusive drop
Whirlwinds
Dust storms
All chain reactions
Resisting the run
Undefeated spirit kept up the marathon
The sun of passions
Melted slowly
Evaporation of immense desires
Solitude is what rediscovered
As virtual remains of astounding lust...

@ ‘dusk’......

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
