At Sunset
I walk the city near dusk
Warm humid air slowly replacing the exhaust from the evening rush
In my ears plays a beat that sounds how drowning in the sunset feels
My feet dancing with my shadow on the sidewalk I delight in my loneliness
I can be a bird in flight
Without ever leaving the ground
