At Night

(READ SLOW)

Eyes wide open
(laying like broccoli you would say)

Crisp
Icy nights

Cold

Even in the summer months;
Cold – (very cold)

Deep breaths in an empty room;
In – and out
(slowly)

Like smoke escaping a chimney;
Cool breath hits the atmosphere

………………………..

Darkness (Stillness)

A motionless and silent night

……………………….

(hours pass)

Thinking

Of you mainly

Memories;
A slideshow strewn with happy

Bittersweet though it is

………………………..

Thinking
(only of you now)

A strange – joyful sort of pain

Then… that feeling
(it crept up from nowhere)

All joy departed
And now… agony

Nothing but agony

Deep – Down to the bones

Fighting tears

Fail

Pouring out emotion

…………………………

Empty

Numb – and… relieved

Feeling…
Tired

Eyes closed

(Sleep) and dream of you
