Crumpets and lavender
Earl Grey in china
Swapping recipes

Smiles and pleasantries
Laughter and memories
Cards and bravado
Veneers and fronts
Lost in a haze

No notion of time
Just hovering in the moment
Time standing still
Illusively surreal
