At Last

Throughout the day
I whisper a broken prayer
In the silence of the night
I ceaselessly utter my only desire
Is it over yet?
How long must I wait?
I need an unseen disaster to take me away
I am not afraid of the pain
Only of facing another day
So I wait and wait
Yet in the morning I wake
To fight against this feeling
This world is more than I can take
How can I be that brave?

I like it. I have these feelings too sometimes.

Thank you. I've often wondered if other people felt this way.

Quite the one o ponder as I do with you but don't be frightened by it, embrace it and try and conquer it.
