At Last

I breathe relief it's over I know where I stand at last. You're finally where you should be, a memory in my past. I was living only half a life that was tearing me apart at the seams, for I had somehow conned myself that I was happy in my dreams. But now I'm back to reality, I found a way out of this maze, I just wish I'd got here sooner but I was lost in some wishful haze. I've had to be quite firm I know, my sore heart it will forgive me. I must learn to move on with life, now you're where you should be.
