At Last

Sunlight sets on your skin
As the day breaks
I lay in silence,
Taking it in
Sleep, and let me
Lie here, beside you
A vision I have had
Of you and I
As we embark,
On a journey
We’ve seen it all
And wasted years
And now, we’ll weep no more
For at last, you are mine.
