when -- at dawn we spotted the cat scooting under the fence who knew--- midday it would be lying on its back lazy-as-content-can-be rubbing up against the sidewalk ---what happened

Of course, you figured out that it's my wife's cat, as women are naturally lazy. That's why we enterprising husbands have to wrack our brains 24/7 to think of ways to keep them occupied. LOL! Thanks, Jenish
