Asymmetry
Asymmetry
Strive to be
What is held as clear as perfection
Freshly polished glass
I’ll have to pass
Away
Before the day
That time abides
With the tides
Making me feel small
Backed into the wall
Wondering where from here?
Where we have yet to venture
Into the crisp light of tomorrow
And the brisk chill of the past
It all seems so rash
That we
Should be
Dancing in the hills with the sheep
Cuddling under the vines to weep
A likeness of you I see in a cloud
I feel under compensated
From time itself
Feel the wealth in itself
What riches does the sun hold?
Which colors of the light show bold?
Break the mold
Of desire
Fuel the fire
Charring the lungs
Of the onlookers.
