Asylum

Blink
Blink
Blink

Florescent lights
Rolling past above
Chaos around
Just a blur from her eyes
In focus the faces
Coming close
Flashlight checking
For what?

She hopes

Blink
Blink
Blink

Green scrubs
Pale faces
Red tainted White gloves
Working quickly
Will they rise victorious above?

Staring up
Into bright light
Last scream echoing
Through her mind
"She's coding!"
Darkness surrounds

Blinking gone
Black swirling to white
Given up on the fight
Darkness swirling to light

Jolt

Florescent light
Burns her eyes
"CLEAR"
The Calling sounds

Jolt

"Save me"
She screams
Soft mumbles
All they hear

Tired of the fight
She drifts off
Into the darkness
The darkest night

Eyes open
To bright light
Bluring into clarity
Slowly gaining sight

Trying to move
Struggle in vain
Bound by burning wrists
Struggle causing more pain

Chain on bars
Clang
Clang
Clang

Focus focus
Onto brown straps
Binding the animal
Soon to erupt

Scratch scratch

Teeth gritting cringe
Before uttering
Most un human scream
Doctors
Nurses
Respond pale faced
To these calls

Only to find
Red seeping past
The indecency they tried to mask
tangled Tourniquets
Ripping loose
Revealing
Her own twisted noose

You practically described a Walmart on a Saturday morning. :) Maddening piece! Dark & atmospheric! Wonderful job!
