Asthma Wheezing Kept Me Alive Today

My asthma wheezing has kept me home today.
Saving my life no doubt, in a most wonderful way.
Winter advisory is on her way to dance and play.
No one who wants to live should be out today.

One of my inhalers is at school, but not a worry.
The birds and the squirrels are all a flurry.
There are things to cook with spice of curry.
But no time to waste, fret, worst of all worry.

My asthma wheezing has kept me home today.
Out of the traffic, so dark and mean, in every way.
I have a glass door, so hip hip hooray, like a play…
I am watching the fastest snowfall I have ever seen.
My asthma wheezing has kept me safe today.

Yes you can turn a negative around by shifting your point of view, very charming ditty!

Thank you Michelle. It kept me safe too. Five snowplows wrecked that day, but I stayed home safe. The rest of the teachers were sent home at 11:30, too late.

Sometimes the strangest things can work the greatest miracles; at least it's on your side. Well penned; very creative.

Thank you M.L. I have to enjoy my asthma for what it can DO for me in these circumstances.
