Ecclesiastes and all that

futility
       mere breath          herding the wind

ephemeral
           short-lived
            for a moment
mere breath
              rhetorical   gestures
               faltering vapour
                palmfuls of mist
pointless folly
                   literally deluded
silent
stillness
           yielding daydreams
           illusions  delusions
            around &upward
             deliberations
utterances
                 of what might have been
                  mishaps  moods
                   tedium  sloth idleness
watching the wind
