Sometimes I feel like I'm just waiting for everyone to come to
Change takes time, but this revolution is long overdue
I truly wish that I could spark a fire within each of you
So far, these poems are the best way I know how to leave a clue
and, to try and help you see things from an alternate point of view...
It's scary, but most of what we know is simply untrue
Let go, let everything dissolve that you thought you knew...
Now, quiet your mind and let your inner being begin to spew
Where do your thoughts come from, why do you think what you do?
There's no such thing as "I", if you look, it's very easy to see through
There's innumerable hidden treasures buried within the subconscious slough
It's not easy, but there's only one person you should be trying to outdo
And that person is the one reading this, hitherto
Ask yourself, are you really doing what you want to do?
Because life is pointless without something to pursue
And there's nothing worse than a coffin filled with rue..
The time is now, theres no such thing as a perfect cue
You might have to do some things you don't normally do
But honestly, aren't you tired of the same old pas de deux?
Invest in yourself, that's what you call spiritual revenue
I promise you there's nothing better than feeling yourself accrue
Maybe I'm crazy, but then again maybe this will speak to a few
They say those crazy enough to think they can change the world are who do
We all want change, will you change you?
