Ask Me How Much I Love You

go out on a rainy day
and count each raindrop falling
       look at the evening sky
and count each star that shine upon
spend a day in the beach
and count the sand your hand can hold
       you can swim too
weigh the water around and feel the shivering cold

       you can drink coffee
and count how much sugar you put
       eat a lot
and count each grain of rice you could
stay in the middle of the road
and count the cars that will pass by
while in the middle of the road
look at the heaven and see how big is the sky

       count the cigars you smoked
since you started doing so
       the liquors that you drank
the girls you flirted with, dated, and fooled too
       count one to one billion
trillion, zilllion... whatever!
count the hairs that you have
'till your hair grows gray and fewer

Actually, I don't know just how much
I love you but you cannot measure it
I love you 24 hours a day and 7 days a week
What more could you have asked for
That's how much I love you
Now, if I will to ask you
I'll just ask you to love me too

                                                  --Aphrodite--
