14.3
“I have realized the Supreme Self,
the Witness, the One
I am indifferent
to bondage and freedom.
I have no need for liberation”
14.4
“The inner condition
of one who is devoid of doubt
yet moves among creatures of illusion
can only be known by those like him”
beyond thought forms in us weaving
direct seeing is believing
yet assimilation awaits
face of God at will retrieving
our consciousness coordinates
in bondage to form fluctuates
unless we’re breath by breath awake
we may walk not through heaven’s gates
light of Self peaceful like a lake
when seen gives our presence a shake
likewise for God all-pervading
dense luminous darkness opaque
what’s known when we begin grading
we’re in shallow waters wading
so we await transmutation
flame of God in earth crusading
not poised in tranquil cessation
flawed yet is our meditation
so we’re in the in-between stage
not final realisation
at times a fool, at times a sage
breath by breath turning a new page
our soul’s flame flickers in the breeze
we react, ego takes umbrage
oh, to flow with nonchalant ease
mood and mode embrace and release
requires past tendencies to rest
free from ego’s thinking disease
though earth life continues to test
we take our bondage in light jest
recognising life is a dream
and that we’re always by God blessed
nothing here is as it does seem
thus blissful atop love’s moonbeam
observing our heartbeats renew
we just dissolve in God’s bliss stream
our heart is pure like morning dew
rapture rises, each hue is new
from head to toe we’re bliss replete
allowing blessings to accrue
having surrendered at God’s feet
form warm with kundalini heat
at peace in love’s benign bliss burn
though an infant, we feel complete
nodes within continue to churn
we patiently await our turn
to shine as a flicker-free flame
here and now in mind-body urn
with no fears and desires to tame
on light of Self we lay our claim
oh dear hearts, nothing less will do
completion in our life’s end game
