Ash Therapy
For Many Years I mucked about
Too sad to even sing the blues
Nothing would make me cheer and shout
I mostly just looked at my shoes
Then came a tip from a good friend
He stated, “Dig yourself a hole.
Throw in a stick and watch it burn.
It is cleansing for the soul”
Well I decided to try it
Whenever I took a sad turn
I'd throw a stick into the hole
And watch my troubles burn!
I love that hole of ashes
In fact on my dying day
Just kick me in the ash hole
and watch me float away
