Ascension

I give you to this world, my son
that all her curses be undone
in peace so long forgotten

of all the gifts you give of will
your tears must taste the sweetest, still
your blood may all the sweeter

but walk that they should walk along
sing that they should learn your songs
and show them love unhindered
