Asa

You may bronze me with this warmth that beams, from within the depths of your deep. You may set me ablaze With this fire that sparkles the night With the moon and stars, You may Tease me with the redness of your lips, and slay me with the flutter of your eye lids, You may bury me in the gasp that emanates from your breath. Let my destiny be engraved on your footpath. Let the secret thoughts of my heart , be tattooed upon your whitened palms. But do not call out my name in the charging winds. Do not gaze at my picture on the wall. Do not sit beside the reddened rose in twilight, For I may bloom and flutter, I may trip and stagger, I may inhale the fragrance, and dance to the Rythm of no return.
