As You Wish!!!

Princess, my heart only knows you... Falling down that hill, as you wish You’re in my thoughts, in what I do Princess, my heart only knows you. I’ve come back for you, don’t feel blue Buttercup, it’s you I cherish Princess, my heart only knows you! Falling down that hill… “As you wish!” Curse you, man in black. How dare you? My dear Westley, my one true love... You killed him, you deserve death too Curse you, man in black! How dare you! Push you down this hill, black and blue Wait--"As you wish?!?" Heavens above!!! Curse you, man in black. How dare you... My dear Westley?!? My one true love!!! ** written for Andrea’s Movie triolet— inspired by the movie, “The Princess Bride”— the scene involved here is when Westley (the man in black) played by Cary Elwes is pushed by Buttercup (played by Robin Wright), who thought he killed Westley, so he shouts, “As you wish…” the only words he told her before he left her…

This has to be one of my favorite movies! (i have quite a few, lol) This is a wonderful pair of Triolets, I read it grinning ear to ear- so well done and reflects a precious and humorous moment in the movie. Your poetry has never failed to delight me. Wonderful :) Congrats in the contest, hugs, Kris

hahaha, what Chris said down here. "wonky meter" how funny. Yours was just GREAT. I am always ending up giving you 4's, aren't I? Didn't that happen another time? Anyway, congratulations, I still am not sure exactly what happened in this scene, but I sure like how you presented it! Luv, Andrea
