As We Forgive Those

There was a man who owed a great debt and he owed it to the king
The fear of prison he'd sweat and that being the best possible thing
So he was now called before but the King dismissed all of his debt
He was in debt no more as back to his own home he had now set

In going on upon his way he seen someone who once did borrow
And what he did say just added to this man's already great sorrow
Even though his debt was forgave he demanded that this man pay
This little debt he would not wave much to the others around dismay

So he sent the poor man to prison until this amount of money was paid
As the others, to the King did they run telling of the decision he made
The King, not happy to say the least and called him back to His Throne
Our deal has now ceased because of the forgiveness you haven't shone

Forgiven a debt that was so great but unable to forget about a few cents
Don't let it be your own fate because the debt Jesus forgave was immense
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those that's the prayer I repeat
A beautiful Light forgiveness shows and on the inside it feels pretty neat

Matthew 6:12
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors

That is a story I still remember from the Bible. Great truth in it.
