As We Age

Life changes as we all age Thouh daily demands the same, While interest is gone and dust piles up We're lonely for someone to call our name. Begin to do things monthly Often we dont go real far, Many days glued watchin re-runs Trying to remember where we parked the car. Exciting to hear the phone ring Jump up at a knock on the door, Heart skips a beat at an invitiation Without these life is just a bore. The senior years can be so pleasant For there is calmness for you, When all else fails, theres bingo After all, what else can you do.
