As the World Turns

Stuff happens, we shrug our shoulders
Life goes on, the young get older
Whatever will be, it's out of our hands
We do not control time's precious sands

That's the way it is and I am glad that we humans do not control it; we seem to destroy everything we touch, including our Earth. Can you imagine us controlling time? Terrifying...let's leave that to God.

Ha, ha. We're doing our best to control time too, what with daylight savings time, and with electricity to wall off nighttime… A pity, indeed! :) gw

The older I get, the more I try. But in the end, we will all be together. Have a great day.

Exactly! "Nearer my G-d to Thee" is a great motivator! Let's maximize all the time allotted to us. Thanks for the comment, David. ~ Gershon

As long as you didn't leave an 'r' out of the third word of this comment, I'll take it!! LOL. ~ Gershon
