As the World Turns

As the World Turns tenaciously wandering along,
is the still life played on in reruns for the throngs,
soap bubbled dreams floating in and out of other lives
worse or better than the real world that survives.

The Secret Storm slipped in the shadows flight
grasping, clasping upon the very Edge of Night
with howling winds wrestling newer repetitive plights
to ease us out of our own midnight fears and delights.

The Guiding Light persists with the Love of Life
and every day the hour special takes off our strife
but soon enough reality sets in again
and The Search for Tomorrow is the same.
