Callus and cold the day Walking out to meet the wind Temperature being not the friend Passers by with normality Cars if you will They were driving Remembering out of the blue The things one used to do Longing with each step Wanting bad dreams Not to become real Feeling numbness set in Knowing a need for safety Money popped up as a frame Tomorrows another stay Hope not defrayed
