As the Day Ends

I sit by the door
 waiting for news
if she's in the hospital
or if it was just a fluke
I stare at the sky waiting
for realy great news
all of a sudden mom
turns her head with
Tears dripping to
the floor

Its true she's in the
hospital i dashed
through the doors
thinking its just a bug
come to find out she
has cancer an nothing can be done
as i sit by her i pray
to god she will makeit
as i goto leave her
docter walks in with a
tear or two dripping from his sleve
i ask do i need to know or does it matter
he said by the looks of her chart
she wont make it to much longer

I dropped to my knees screaming
and crying she cant go she cant leave
thats my grandma i screamed
she means the world to me
as i standup an realize the day is
ending and she can barly breath
shes pale an sickly thin
i kissed her with tears dripping from my chin

But as the day ends i wished her goodluck till then
