The universe is certainly not intelligent, especially if it needs living beings life us to give it meaning, which is as much as I can assume on the face of it, cheers David

Nothing in nature is Euclidean.

It’s a strange one Robert, I agree with you, but then I think of math, and like most Euclidean geometry, cannot decide for certain, whether it was discovered or invented by us, which in turn begs the question did the universe embed it in nature?cheers David

Contours, curves and corners. Gotta know when to take them, gotta know when we should say, 'No.' We're a lazy society but cutting corners can backfire and then we have to pay the price for shortcutting in lots of different ways. Back to Monokus again. Mixing it up works for you. I'd say you're giving your brain a rest from writing another like Passages, but your Monoku are always complex... no straight lines.

Ah! well if I’m to be remembered for that one alone, then I’m happy! :)

Absolutely Lin, they really are part and parcel of being human, as much as we detest them sometimes, definitely no straight lines in my monokus lol! Thanks for mentioning passages again, I think you really enjoyed that one, I got a great buzz writing it too, cheers David

A wise Monoku David, if humans can find an easier way to do it they will every time. Seems no one likes a challenge these days with all the modern gadgets you don't even have to get out of bed. Lol. Must admit I find Alexa handy. Tom

Heya Tom, the gadgets we have today are great and I enjoy using them, (I’m more of a Siri guy myself) this one was always more about the human condition, and how we bend the cosmological rules using our intelligence to cut corners when it suits us, plus a lot of irony going on, cheers David
