~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In tones of frenzied feelings,
Rage, responding to rage,
Chiseling on the stone, a heart
Dusted with doubt, jealously,
Hesitant to believe
There was once a gentle light,
Glowing like glittering diamonds
In eyes – soft as the music
Soothing the darkness and risking
Everything, to say…
Yes, despite it all, the marriage,
The light glistening in eyes so wide,
The beautiful of a bond,
Despite the fight between two,
Who know that forever…
Forever can bring them back together,
There are tones of darkness,
Frenzied thoughts and feelings,
Stirred by rage, blaming the hurt,
Feelings who bring with them…
The need to be right, above all else,
Prideful and glowing with vanity,
Bleeding conceit, arrogance – self-satisfaction
So that, not only is the marriage dissolved,
The feelings, they bleed with a wound…
So deep it can never be resolved,
It erases even the sweetest memories,
As it resonates with superiority.
