As One of These
As One of These
Voice the blade of grass defines the green internal wind
scattered amid its fields are the oceans of its word
Shifting murmurs and laughter in the soil as defenceless progeny play
the mirrors of flowers whispering and reverberating
not even Solomon no not even Solomon
was ever arrayed
Far above the sighing trees breath granting their plaintiff meditation
a vision to be marching in legions legions upon legions of leaves
And the sun will become a multitude of blazing sprinkled spears
in the canopies a hand dappling digits of eclipsing light to caress the quiet Earth
The counterparts of branches unveiled the heirs of freedom
running between their trunks rustling and replying
in all his glory in all his glory
was ever arrayed
Saluting creation the empire of stone devises its pinnacles of cloud
inspired by genesis in their land locked praise of the unfathomed depths
the icon of fragments
unguarded children dance in the pastures of forest slopes
their mountain feet calling and echoing
not even Solomon not even Solomon
in all his glory
was ever arrayed
