As Night's Symphony Strums
Oh, how I love the stillness of the night,
when moonbeams surf upon the dim grey sands,
to flood a hamlet’s coastline with their light,
And sketches silhouettes of seaweed strands.
Oh, how serene the swish of soothing breeze,
that travelled miles to wrap around my face,
And rustle leaves where birds amass in trees,
to twitter self to sleep with charm and grace.
Oh, how delightful are the nightly hums,
of crickets chirping to allure their mate,
of hooting owls, as night’s symphony strums,
and slowly lulls your eyes to slumber state.
This witching blank bliss of nocturnal realm,
helps cleanse my mind of thoughts that overwhelm.
