As My Mum Always Said
My Mum died at ninety comfortably in her bed,
With hind sight she alway positive in what she said.
In our family there was five of us,
Out side we were lively, indoors we never made a fuss.
In our house we always felt there was warmth and love about,
Only on rare occassions at us did Mum or Dad.
Mum never showed sadness, respect yes , looked on the happier side.
It was only when Dad and Grand Ma passed away she cried.
Our Mums happiness and attitude she did did instill in us,
We think positive, are always looking for the hapoiness bus.
She had a large frame which she had hung i on the kitchen door,
So we would not forget , always reminded us, to be sure.
The secret to a happy life is always have something to do,
Some one to love, some to love you, something to look forward to.
Remembering happiness and love must come from inner you.
