As My Feet Hit the Floor

As my feet hits the floor

in the late morning

I then start through

my bedroom door.

Grief I feel

I am missing my mother

still.

will this sad feeling

ever leave me be.

As my feet hit the floor

In the evening

I attempt to go buy some food

at a near by groceries store.

Grief I feel

while I go on with my day

but it against my will.

As my feet hits the floor

later that night

I walk up to buy my ticket

then step into the theater to

watch a movie.

I say why, as I bring to cry.

Grief I feel

it feel like it taking over my life

I am missing my mother

you see.

As my feet hits the floor

it back to bed time again

while my Grief feels like

this is my only friend.

but this time as I walk

to my bed

I pick up my Bible,

to read upon God word

because he will never leave me.

And trust in him,

that what the good book said.

Grief I feel

but in it I will not dell.
