As Mankind Dies

Darkness may be an unwillingness to see
How easy to retain apathy
'Tis peaceful to open eyes
And gaze upon lies
As mankind
Dies
To not find
That courage defies
Self-inflicted, blinded cries
And shines light on truth and empathy
