As Love Takes Hold
Feeling my heart pound in my chest:
I knew you were not like the rest.
And ignoring the rules that mold:
our souls combine: as love takes hold.
In love with love; I'm never bored,
for on its wings: my hopes have soared.
And I don't ever question why:
for what I feel's hard to deny.
I've found an Angel to adore;
and don't feel anxious anymore.
For merging with my heart and soul,
you leave me feeling loved and whole.
Trust, purged my heart of fear and doubt,
'cause that's what trust is all about.
And feeling loved makes my heart sing,
for you're my world, my everything.
