As Long As Time Allows
Oh, beloved one, dear to me you art.
I pledge myself to you with marriage vows.
A solemn oath with my hand on my heart...
I shall love you as long as time allows.
Then over your heart, my hand shall linger,
making promises of fidelity
sealed by a ring placed on my left finger
before friends and God, so reverently.
Our hearts shall e're belong to each other
as two candles burning with passion's fire.
Flames that shall never smolder or smother
ever ablaze with our ardent desire.
Forsooth you be reaped by the wraith of death,
with hand on my heart, I'll take one last breath.
