As It Is
Within the mind of this Poet
Is the words to inspire.
Within inspired words
is the spark of a fire.
Within the blood of this man
Is the Soul of a fighter.
Within the Heart of this Warrior
Is the unbreakable Creed.
Within this Creed
Is the will to succeed.
My Weapons Of War
Are a pen and ink.
I load the barrel of this weapon
With the thoughts that I think.
I fire down range
And lay these bullets on lines.
Center mass
Headshots
Accurate every time.
Time is so fleeting..
Gone in the blink of an eye.
Beauty is to the beholder
What one sees with the eye.
Between waking and dreaming
Life continues on
Always ending..
And between beginning and ending
Life continues on in remembering.
