As If It Seems

Don't hold the grudge against me,
my hurt pride is telling me
how wrong it is to refuse constantly
a special invitation
from someone who wouldn't cry
even in exasperation...

As if it seems,
it had to happen
at a time when
our conscience
couldn't take cheats
and keep them
to ourselves
without sheding tears...

Don't throw your desire away,
you may need it
when you'll feel my absence;
and decide to love with dignity;
that promise shines in beauty
and to break it
means you don't see the difference,
it can show you the way...

As if it seems,
it had to happen
in a moment of weakness
and unexpected delusion;
as if it seems,
we don't give  any reason
to oppose this controversy
and feel so guilty...
