As I Sit

As I sit on the porch
And watch all of natures animals take their course
I drink my coffee
Which is tasty and makes me happy
The birds chirping
As other animals are lurking
The sun is out
Which makes me smile no doubt
A relaxing place
As I look at all the space
I could sit on this porch
As the day goes forth
A little wind
Which can make me grin
A place to think
A place to write
With all the strife
Some baby bunnies
Which are cute and can be funny
Don't forget the bugs
That can make me shrug
As I sit on the porch
As to hope for a good day of course

Hello Eve … you wrote of the best way to enjoy natures therapy. A pen and paper; cup of coffee; and birds going about their life without fear - enjoyable verse Eve - Lindsay

I enjoyed this Eve. It reminds me of doing that here at home too. Very nice. I hope you have a great day :)
