Brian Strand Poet Quatrain

As I Said Before

AS I SAID BEFORE

Flights of fancy
colour my eye..

A terracotta
speckled sallow
cochineal
in flaxen fallow..

A bluish buff
soft yellow
saffron shadow
upon mallow.

Flights of fancy
colour my eye...

A mosaic gold
ultra marine
on bone black
umber sanguine.

An olive lind
carnation citrine
reddish red
on earth green.

Flights of fancy
colour my eye...
