As I Am
Who said that things come as they seem
I admit I’m not perfect but I try to strive in life
Don't look at me as a person who starts problems,
Look for a person who has problems.
Look & see a boy whose life is controlled by others
I try to make a difference, but no one seems to respect me
Accept the fact that I try to fit in,
But "fit in" can have many purposes.
I respect that love may not be an option to me
But respect the love that I can give.
I have love for any girl who can handle their ways,
But for love for guys, I can't deny, save for another day.
I am god's soldier, and this war is killing me
Obey his every command that he gives to me
A working process what ever it may be
I am what I am, and that's all you'll ever see.
Please forgive the threat that I send
But the true saying goes, "don't judge a book by its cover
At first look, I've been laughed at, pushed around
True friends see the real me for my capabilities.
Haters need to fall back and stop making excuse.
Because it's the New Year and I' living stress free.
So for all the hater who don't know who I am
All I can say is take me as I am,
Because the man you want, you really need to meet
Cause the fake man you know, man that's just not me.
